Natural Product Communications is a peer reviewed, open access journal studying all aspects of natural products, including isolation, characterization, spectroscopic properties, biological activities, synthesis, structure-activity, biotransformation, biosynthesis, tissue culture and fermentation. It covers the full breadth of chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, and chemical ecology of natural products.

This Special Issue will bring studies, presented at the XXIX SILAE Congress, on all aspects of natural products, including isolation, characterization, spectroscopic properties, biological activities, synthesis, analytical methods and tissue culture and fermentation.

Journal of Food Quality publishes original research on issues of food quality, including the handling of food from a quality and sensory perspective and covers both medical and functional foods. T

his Special Issue will bring studies, presented at the XXIX SILAE Congress, on all aspects of Wild plant species as potential source of novel nutraceuticals or functional food compounds. Such plant species are likely to have specifichealth benefits, such as disease prevention, as has been shown with some traditional food plants.
